Robotic Welding Services

Robotic Welding

At Ohio Valley Manufacturing, we handle all robotic welding in-house: from design and building, to checking fixtures and production. In order to provide our customers with a cost-effective solution, we build and use material handling robots to stack parts (pick and place) from the production press, which eliminates the labor cost. We are equipped to handle high-volume automation. For more information about our robotic welding services, please contact Ohio Valley Manufacturing.

Arc/Resistance Welding Process
  • MIG
  • Metal Inert Gas welding, also referred to as Gas Metal Arc Welding.
  • Projection
  • Projection welding uses a solid projection in the material to concentrate the current flow at a contact point which results in lower currents, forces and process times than spot welding.
  • Resistance
  • Resistance welding is a process where heat is generated by passing current through the resistance caused by the contact between two or more metal surfaces to be joined.
  • Spot Welding
  • FCAW (Flux Core Arc Welding)
  • This process uses similar equipment as GMAW but in place of standard solid wire uses wire consisting of a steel electrode surrounding a powder fill material.
  • GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
  • Also known as metal inert gas or MIG welding.
