Discover Ohio Valley’s Company History

Ohio Valley Manufacturing is a leading supplier of parts for automobiles, trucks, appliances, agricultural equipment, and more. Since our founding in 1999, we have continually invested in advanced, heavy-tonnage presses and grown our capacity to run larger dies. This has made us more competitive in the market and expanded our Tier 1 and Tier 2 customer base.

Ohio Valley was founded by Mike Fanello with the assistance of his parents, Mick and Rose Fanello. The company started out with a focus on acquiring heavy gauge blanking and metal stampings that require heavy-tonnage presses.

Ohio Valley had its first major expansion in 2003. We expanded to house a newly purchased 1,800-ton press, a backup for our existing 1,800-ton press. The new equipment helped us secure major automotive programs that helped build Ohio Valley in the early years.

Ohio Valley completed installation of a new 3,000-ton press, finishing a 20,000-square-foot expansion. This provided backup for the 4,000-ton press for contingency planning and helped us grow our business in the heavy gauge, blanking, and stamping markets.

This press was originally purchased for Mick Fanello’s stamping and blanking business in the 1980s and helped propel that business to the next level. Three decades later, it was purchased by Mick’s grandsons to get the press back in the family, and to this day it’s still running strong.
